A way of life.
For founder Miriam Claire, horses have been part of life for as long as she can remember. Growing up in the United Kingdom as the daughter of a racehorse trainer, Miriam's childhood was spent surrounded by horses, racing and competition.
She began competing herself as a child, and the equestrian world became not simply an interest, but a way of life.
That connection continued through adulthood. Miriam married a National Hunt jockey before eventually making a new home in Australia, where horses remained an enduring part of family life.
Today, more than fifty years after that journey began, Miriam still owns horses and remains immersed in the equestrian world. Now another generation continues the story, with her granddaughter competing successfully in Equestrian Australia show jumping at national level.

A House of Horse.
It is this heritage that inspired Maison Cavallé.
MC are Miriam Claire’s own initials, while Maison Cavallé evokes the idea of a House of Horse — a home for a collection shaped by equestrian heritage, timeless style and an appreciation for exceptional quality.
